Eric Holder's decision to name a career prosecutor to investigate alleged CIA interrogation abuses would seem to fulfill a dramatic pledge he made last year when he was promoting the election of Barack Obama. "We owe the American people a reckoning," Holder said in a much-quoted speech that blasted the excesses of the Bush administration in its prosecution of the war on terror.
Is the justice department prosecuting those purple-shirted thugs who beat up mr. gladney, the U.S.citizen at the town hall meeting in St. Louis, who only wanted to give away "Don't Tread on Me" flags. isn't there some Right of Assembly, Free Speech, Life, Liberty rights involved here.
Holder said that he realizes the move is controversial but that it was the only responsible course to take, but I guess he don't care! So I guess that now the CIA is the bad guys, and the New Black Panthers are free to intimidate white voters.
And instead they will try to bring up charges against those men and women who were trying to protect our country.

It's getting to where there's a bigger stigma to having a Gadsden flag than there is to folks here locally who fly Confederate flags. It's like everyone with a Gadsden flag is automatically labeled a racist right-wing anti-American kook out to destroy the Obama Nation. Please....
ReplyDeleteAnd it get worse and worse until America wakes up and say we had enough!
ReplyDeleteThey're going to prosecute the very people who are protecting Americans from the evil, murderous monsters who want to annihilate every citizen of this nation as well as the nation itself.
ReplyDeleteThis will destroy any morale that may remain in the CIA. We can no longer rely on our intelligence agencies to give us an early warning--they've been emasculated.
ReplyDeleteIt makes no sense to attack the intelligence community for following DOJ guidelines. At the time, they were set down and there's no argument that the Agency did what they were told to do.
ReplyDeleteThen comes the ObamaNation, sympathy for our enemies and a bent to dismantle CIA in the face of those who would do us harm. It makes no sense unless you want to destroy the country.
Good post, Debbie.
